The Air4 Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring the prioritization, planning, and implementation of technology programs in support of the Air4 platform with Virgin Atlantic ("VS"). They will drive alignment, prioritization, and fulfillment of these programs to enhance the customer experience. The PM will be responsible for prioritizing and coordinating with key business units at Delta.
The PM will create the Air4 business technology plan which will be established in full coordination with Virgin Atlantic and Delta. They will influence leadership-level positions across the company and with partners on priorities and solutions.
This position will report to the GM, BDM, based in Atlanta with an estimated 20% of time spent at VHQ London UK.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Build, maintain and sustain DL Business relationship. Advocate for the AIR4 contract. Educate and influence DL business groups on the importance of DL VS JV/relationship.
Coordinate prioritization and collaboration with leaders across all commercial and operational teams at Delta related to Air4 functionality.
Obtain DL leadership commitment to keep pace with Delta delivery and code + functional parity.
Support joint planning sessions between VS and DL to align on respective roadmaps.
Vet all Virgin Atlantic change requests to the Air4 PSS system in conjunction with the VS PMO.
Draft DL strategic plan, look ahead plan, and path to production that impacts VS AIR4 systems every quarter.
Influence production of Air4 priorities with IT, commercial, and operations leadership.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor's degree required.
6+ years' experience in business-to-technology product management, budgeting, translations, and implementation.
4+ years' experience in developing analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations.
Ability to take challenging technical work and processes and communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable way to peers, cross-divisional team members, and all levels of internal and external management.
Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and negotiating skills.
Exceptional consensus-building and motivational skills are required.
Must possess financial and commercial acumen.
International travel will be required - 10% to 50%.
