Algo Execution Business Analyst - Execution Services Technology
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic technology team at Millennium. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving change across our technology platform, particularly in our internal electronic trading infrastructure and central risk book platform. This role will work closely with our Execution Services team to set strategy and define requirements from both a business and technical perspective.
Responsibilities
Lead large, complex, cross-functional programs and projects.
Synthesize requirements across stakeholders.
Analyze upstream and downstream data dependencies and create the necessary BRD/FRD and associated JIRAs.
Create and maintain product roadmaps and other project artifacts required to manage stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate with teams across multiple areas to ensure seamless integration and execution of projects.
Required Skills
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Project Manager in an enterprise-level FinTech environment.
5+ years of relevant trading technology experience, ideally on the buyside, and comfortable interacting with front-office, non-technical personnel.
Concise, succinct written and oral communication skills, capable of consolidating complex topics into poignant, actionable deliverables.
Subject matter expertise in Equities & Equity Derivatives products and markets, including regulations.
Hands-on project experience related to trading systems, trade flows, and in-line execution controls.
Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and to proactively anticipate, identify, prevent, and resolve issues.
Strong understanding of order management systems including common algorithms, order splitting/routing, and slippage analysis.
Desirable Skills
Experience with sequencer-based platforms.
Knowledge of low latency high throughput systems.
Familiarity with algorithms (Algos), Smart Order Routing (SOR), dark pools, and associated workflows.
Ability to leverage kdb+/Q and/or SQL for data analytics and experience in working with large and complex datasets (not in an engineering capacity).
Familiarity with Python.
Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
