Algorithms Engineering Intern Wavetronix has an immediate opening for an Algorithms Engineering Intern. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious person that will gather data from various test sites and then analyze the data. This person will work closely with the QA department and software developers pointing out anomalies in the data. This is a part-time position.
Internship start date: May 12, 2025
The Engineering Assistant candidate will have the ability and desire to complete the following goals.
First 30 days:
Learn the terminology of traffic data and how the data is interpreted in the traffic industry. Learn the product's capabilities and use it to gather the desired data. Understand the network protocols needed for data analysis. Produce reports that show traffic data. Learn to detect abnormal data and report it. Perform statistical data analysis on unique data. Take lead on all activities for assigned test sites. First Year:
Create methods to maintain and automate the data gathering and anomaly detection. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a strong desire to learn innovative technologies and can work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile environment.?
Desired skills and experience:
Has an associate degree or equivalent education. Has experience with the python programming language. Ability to perform a statistical data analysis on unique data. Strong problem-solving skills to help innovate tools and processes. Nice to have skills:
Experience with signal processing algorithms. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms. Familiar with embedded systems.
