THE POSITION As Replenishment Analyst (Full-time Hourly), you will manage the flow of inventory into our stores and respond to changes in demand. The Replenishment Analyst will work to achieve an appropriate balance of inventory that maximizes inventory turn and profitability, while also creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. Working closely with the buyers, planners, and stores, the replenishment analyst is integral to the cross-functional team due to the high level of accountability and impact to the bottom line.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor performance across multiple product categories and stores to maximize in stocks, inventory turn, and reduce unnecessary inventory
Pull and summarize data from reporting systems as needed to analyze the business
Release and monitor systemically generated purchase orders using the replenishment system and determine manual purchase quantities when needed
Follow up on PO deliveries and adjust delivery dates as needed to keep information current in the system
Escalate issues to cross functional team members
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
Assist with other projects as needed
Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent industry experience
1-3 years prior retail experience as a Replenishment Analyst, or similar position
Must be accurate, detail oriented, organized, assertive, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong math and analytical skills and a full understanding of retail metrics
Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to internal systems
Reliable team player with the ability to develop great relationships with team members, vendors and stores
Strong Interpersonal/Written/Verbal Communication Skills
Positive attitude and adaptable to change
