POSITION: Analyst/Executive Assistant 1099 Contract LOCATION: Alexandria, VA (On-Site) CLEANRENCE REQUIRED: Public Trust Red Carrot is seeking a TEMPORARY 30-90 day CONTRACTED Administrative Assistant to join a team to support our federal government client. This assistant must be capable of providing all-encompassing administrative support and managing day-to-day administrative affairs efficiently. You will be required to be in the office a minimum of two days a week. ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day administrative affairs of the clientMaintain client's full calendar, including scheduling daily appointments and deconflicting appointments whenever necessaryCoordinate administrative tasks, and oversee designated administrative operationsAccurately enter information into databases/tracking systemsVerifying the availability of inhouse and external participants for planned meetingsSend out reminders of scheduled meetingsReschedule or cancel meetings in a timeous manner and noting the reason for cancelationManage and confirm travel bookings and arrangementsKeep stakeholders informed of project timelines and associated deadlinesExercise basic to intermediate formatting skills for a variety of reports, presentations, and spreadsheetsPrepare agendas, presentation materials, meeting requests, and meeting minutesAnswer and screen incoming calls and direct calls to the appropriate personDevelop written documents and correspondence that demonstrate a mastery of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation skillsCompile input for and draft/organize a variety of reportsMaintain stakeholder email and distribution listsEnsure effective document managementMaintain templates and resources for operationsFully coordinate interviews, meetings, panels, etc. maintaining effective communication with the appropriate staff and with external stakeholdersEstablish and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience2+ years of experience as an Administrative AssistantCommunicate clearly and effectively to all stakeholders with a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy, and tactExperience providing administrative assistance to senior leadershipDemonstrated a high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDisplay and employ strong critical thinking skillsDemonstrate clear judgment and independent decision-making capabilitiesWork independently to complete tasks and/or work products with conceptual guidanceWork on and prioritize multiple assignments throughout the workdayProactively identify assignmentsProduce work products that require minimal revisionEffectively communicate in written and oral formats; able to respond in a timely manner to requests for informationDemonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environmentBenefits at Red Carrot:????
