Description
Khrom Capital is seeking a highly motivated analyst to join its investment team.
The analyst will be responsible for assisting in conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities including financial modeling, channel checks, due diligence calls, and industry analysis.
The role will be a generalist role.
The individual should possess two years of investment banking experience along with two+ years of experience at a private equity firm or hedge fund.
Khrom Capital is a leading North American value-oriented investment firm based in Miami, FL.
The firm typically targets concentrated investments in smid-cap companies and manages over $700mm in AUM.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Research: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on public and private companies, industries, and markets to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to project company performance, valuations, and potential returns.
- Investment Analysis: Analyze financial statements, macroeconomic trends, and industry data to support investment decisions.
Perform fundamental analysis to assess company value, risks, and growth potential.
- Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor portfolio holdings and the broader financial market to stay updated on relevant news, earnings reports, and economic developments.
- Data Analysis: Leverage quantitative data, market research tools, and software platforms to analyze complex financial data and generate insights.
- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, management assessments, and competitive landscape evaluations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree from a top academic institution
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment strategies.
- Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and other financial software (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.).
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data
- Knowledge of macroeconomic factors, industry trends, and investment vehicles (equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- A strong interest in financial markets, investment strategies, and staying current on global economic events.
- Candidate must be willing to relocate to Miami, FL and commute to the office 5 days a week
