This position reports to the Manager, Customer Advocacy within the Global Privacy & Complaints organization.?The Global Privacy & Complaints Team supports a wide variety of processes and sensitive activities such as managing highly complex escalations on behalf of senior executives, researching and addressing consumer inquiries submitted through a variety of regulating agencies and reviewing complaints to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and complaint program requirements.
The candidate chosen will be a part of the Customer Advocacy Servicing Team (CAST) and will be responsible for ensuring the hand-off between regulatory agencies and CAST analyst is seamless. In addition, the Inventory Analyst will be responsible for performing a number of tasks to support case set-up, assignment, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing regulatory portal complaint downloads and response submission.
Analyzing regulatory complaints to determine appropriate complaint categories.
Lexis Nexis Customer Search function.
Case Launch File Creation.
Initial Closure (IC) review feedback/support for Analyst.
Track Complaint volume in reporting.
Perform varying responsibilities in support of executing and evolving strategic initiatives tied to process efficiencies and enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current or previous experience handling regulatory and agency complaints required.
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Track record of meeting deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Experience with formulas, pivots, and other intermediate Excel functions highly desirable).
Flexible work schedule to occasionally accommodate shifting volumes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Customer Service, Operational Excellence, Compliance or Audit functions.
Competency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with and knowledge of American Express Card products and internal systems, including Prepaid.
Salary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly + bonus + benefits
