Analytics & AI Product Owner Location Hybrid remote in Boulder, CO : If you are an Analytics & AI Product Owner professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Boulder or Shakopee location, you will have a meaningful role working with internal partners to capture requirements on insights needed to make decisions. The individual in this role will research business needs to settle features to include in analytics/AI products. The product owner will act as the primary contact between the partners and scrum teams. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of data and AI initiatives. Working with cross-functional teams and collaborators to continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline achievements and deliverables, and find opportunities and risks. Partnering with collaborators to resolve product vision, strategy, features & prioritization. Developing an analytics/AI roadmap and translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Prioritizing and maintaining the sprint backlog for assigned products. Handling collaborator expectations, communication, and reporting effectively throughout the product lifecycle. WHO YOU ARE: You understand interpersonal and group dynamics and react in an effective manner. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. You have a clear understanding of other groups business priorities. You remain energized and effective when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field 8+ years experience as a product owner, business analyst or project manager Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART: Understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and analytics principles, tools, and methodologies Experience working with SAFe Agile development methodologies Familiarity with PowerBI, Python, R, and SQL Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option: This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $113,000 - $154,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
