Anesthesiologist Needed For Locum Tenens Coverage At Facility In Lewiston, Maine

A health system is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. Lewiston is the second largest city in Maine! There you will find festivals, fun hiking trails, and gorgeous views. The position offers a MondayFriday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility to work 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts. The patient mix includes 75% adults, 5% pediatrics, and 20% trauma, with case types consisting of 70% general, 20% OB, and 10% bariatric procedures. The facility has 12 operating rooms equipped with Da Vinci robots and Mindray machines, supported by a team of 8 MDs and 20 CRNAs. Candidates will supervise and provide medical direction to CRNAs, with no solo cases unless theres an emergency. Requirements include board certification, BLS, and ASCLS credentials. EMR system used is EMAR.
