Position Requirements: St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center, a division of St. Joseph's University Medical Center and a member of St. Joseph's Health, is a 229 bed acute care community hospital that provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, emergency and diagnostic services to the residents of Wayne and communities in northern New Jersey.
Case Assignments: Endo, general, L&D, and ortho.

Responsibilities: Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments.Obtain and verify patient consent.Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.Monitor the patient's physiological condition.Perform clinical interventions as needed.Requirements: M.D./D.O.
