Anesthesiology Physician

We areseeking a highly qualified Anesthesia Physician for a locum to perm opportunityat a community hospital in Rockport, ME.
This position offers a combination ofday shifts and home call responsibilities, including weekend 24-hour home callcoverage.
The hospital is acommunity-based facility with 4 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy sites, and anobstetrics (OB) unit.
It is designated as a Level III Trauma Center.
Thehospital averages 10-12 surgical cases per day, with no scheduled painmanagement cases.
The requiredprocedures for this position include handling both adult and pediatric generalsurgical cases, as well as performing minor nerve blocks and IV regionalanesthesia.
The physician will also be responsible for plexus anesthesia,spinal and epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia.
Additionally, therewill be obstetrical cases, acute pain management procedures, and the insertionof central lines and arterial lines.
The role requires expertise in theevaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues to ensurepatient safety and effective care.
