General Scope of Work (Job Description and Duties): Become a member of an existing full stack development team responsible for enhancing, updating, and sustaining an existing DoD cloud-based system. As part of the team, you will work in an agile environment closely with team members and the users to upgrade the existing system. The position requires existing experience working with tools including Angular, Java, and Accumulo. This role includes development of new code, migration of Angular and Accumulo to newest versions along with supporting development of requirements and other life cycle information and processes.
Responsibilities: Meet with development team and program manager to discuss requirements and project schedules.Support development of requirements.Write new code.Integrate various applications or other systems.Investigate and analyze root cause issues; propose solutions, and verify and validate final solutions.Assist with documenting requirements.Participate in client meetings.Help to evolve the application by developing testing procedures and quality assurance.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with Accumulo database.Experience with AWS systems.Experience with Java.Experience with Angular.Work with IT team to coordinate efforts and communicate changes.Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive approach to problem solving.Discipline to complete tasks while working remotely or telecommuting.DoD background (desired).Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.
