Position Highlights: Team consists of 3.6 CNM hospitalists; partnership with North Charlotte OB/GYN and Eastover University OB/GYN, delivering at AH University City Hospital 2100 annual live births at Atrium Health University City Level III NICU CNM rotation of 7 24 hour shifts per month Great benefits and compensation package Position Requirements: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse required Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required Must first assist to cesarean sections or be willing to learn Prefer 3 years CNM experience; will consider those with 1 year of CNM experience and strong L&D background Atrium Health University Hospital is a 130-bed acute care facility located in Charlotte's University area. The campus offers a range of healthcare services in University City, Mint Hill, North Mecklenburg, and Southwest Cabarrus regions in North Carolina. Over the past 25 years, our hospital has been serving the Charlotte area and we have worked to add new services and more specialized physicians and programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community.
