As an Apparel Designer at Cozy Earth, you will play a pivotal role in creating stylish and comfortable apparel collections that resonate with the Cozy Earth customer. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Marketing, Creative, and Supply Chain to bring our vision to life. From concept development to final production, you will leverage your skill, creativity, and technical expertise to design apparel that meets our brand standards and exceeds customer expectations. This role will focus on designing our men's and women's lounge and sleepwear, and other lines as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the conceptual development of product lines in alignment with brand aesthetics and target market. Create sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate design concepts. Develop prototypes and oversee the fitting process to ensure style, proper fit, comfort, and exceptional quality. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to select materials and oversee sample production. Work closely with Product Development to ensure designs are executed according to specifications, budget, and timelines. Research and analyze current market trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings to ensure the product is consistent with Cozy Earth's business strategy. Maintain accurate and organized records of all design materials. Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a college or university, major in Fashion Design or related field 3-5 years of experience in apparel design, preferably in loungewear or lifestyle apparel Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, PLM Software, MS Office - Excel Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, and technical specifications Experience working with overseas partners Keen eye for detail, creativity, and passion for creating innovative designs Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly materials is a plus!
