Overview
Our long-term client has a contract opportunity for an
Appian Developer
to work
REMOTE
on a federal program responsible for managing health care benefits for Military Veterans in the western United States. The scope of the project they are working on includes providing the ability to evaluate various beneficiary and provider data, including Medical Claims prior to payment and post-payment to identify potential Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA).
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be
U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
and be able to pass the client's background requirements.
Responsibilities
Design Appian based solutions to meet business requirements.
Develop complex process models in Appian
Develop user interface screens using reusable components
Integrate with other applications using Appian connected systems, web-api and integration objects.
Develop Appian plugins using Java
Integrate Appian applications with relational and NOSQL databases
Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
Develop outbound Rest APIs hosted in Appian
Develop integration objects to call external SOAP and REST APIs
Read/write documents to Appian content management
Use existing Appian plugins to implement functionality such as sending e-mail, creating or manipulating pdf documents, triggering sftp tasks, reading and writing from files etc.
Create and deploy build packages in Appian
Qualifications
Certified Level 1 Appian Developer
2+ years of recent hands-on development experience with Appian including user interfaces, sites, portals, complex process models, dashboards, web APIs, connected systems, integration objects, dashboards, custom data types etc.
2+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.
1+ year of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
1+ years of experience in the design and implementation of SOAP and REST Web Service.
Experience working with architects and business analysts to understand business requirements.
Experience developing Appian Plugin
Experience with Json and integrating with NOSQL databases
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be
U.S.
Citizens or Permanent Residents
and be able to pass the client's background requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Level 2 Appian Developer
2+ years of recent work experience on a software development project in a Federal government setting.
Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
