Title: Application Analyst III Location: Camden, NJ Type: Contract Our healthcare client is seeking an IT professional who will be responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining applications.
The Application Analyst III coordinates the analysis and development of new functionality.
Builds, tests, and implements new functionality, maintenance changes, and fixes.
Reviews and completes scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and implements system and process changes.
Ensures system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.
Acts as application SME when assigned to project teams.
Works with cross-functional teams on system functionality and configuration of new tools.
Documents current/future state workflows.
Creates and maintains test scripts.
Develops, plans, and executes testing for supported applications.
Consistently meets project deadlines and goes the extra mile to ensure dates are met.
Troubleshoots, researches, and solves technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.
Designs, builds, executes, and maintains integration test scripts and user acceptance test plans.
Key Accountabilities: Provides complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected as part of application requirement gathering.
Identifies requirements, provides fit gap analysis, and creates effective technical solutions for the business needs.
Designs, validates, and confirms new or changed functionality with the supported application environment that meets customer specifications.
Demonstrates ability to implement and manage small- to medium-level projects.
Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.
Assists with the administrative, technical, and customer-facing duties surrounding the successful project implementation of system updates and changes.
Ability to influence, coach, and mentor peers and provide cross-training across applications as needed.
Responsible for maintaining documentation, creating SOPs, and outlining current and future state workflows.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to design, build, and execute comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plans and scripts.
Supports new implementations and upgrades.
Provides on-call support 24/7.
Monitors queues, event logs, and brokers; interfaces with external systems; performs maintenance as required; and creates reports as needed.
Requirements: 5-7 years of experience required A bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, IT/Systems, Healthcare, or a related field; or 5-7 years relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree for those candidates who have a proven track record in the field of handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summary Application-specific certification/proficiency required within 90 days of hire Healthcare experience in a hospital, medical practice, or health system preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Ability to effectively translate IT terminology and processes with key stakeholders Strong customer service skills Ability to multitask in a high-pace work environment
