Engineering team
As an Application Developer your responsibilities will be to aid the team in, but not limited to the following:
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust software solutions that drive the growth and efficiency of the company's portfolio.
Gain deep expertise in the company's application ecosystem, including the Loan Origination platform, to architect, configure, and implement scalable solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
Lead the development and enhancement of interactive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) on critical application platforms, partnering closely with Product Owners to ensure a seamless and intuitive end-user experience.
Implement and maintain automated testing processes and frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in rotational on-call support activities during weekends and holidays, providing timely response and resolution to critical system issues and emergencies.
Collaborate with the engineering team on rotational deployment activities, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of software releases and updates across production environments.
Take ownership of assigned projects, demonstrating increased accountability and autonomy in project planning, execution, and delivery.
Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of application architecture and technologies.
Mentor interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the engineering team.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, contributing to the evolution of the company's technical roadmap and innovation initiatives.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
1+ year of applicable work experience and/or relevant internship experience
Experience with JavaScript or Python or Java
Exposure to OOD/OOP, data structures, and algorithm analysis
Strong problem-solving skills
Exposure to designing, developing and testing large, scalable, complex systems
Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
