Application Developer

One of the world's largest clothing retailers is searching for an Application Developer to join its Enterprise Java team at its office in Pleasanton, CA.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications with high scalability and low latency.

Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain customer-facing Java applications capable of handling high-volume traffic and sustaining low-latencyUtilize development management tools for CI/CD pipelines like Gradle, ArgoCD, GitHub, and KubernetesThink and code analytically using data analysis tools/frameworks like Databricks, Jupyter notebooks, etc.
Compute across distributed systems, tools, and frameworks like HDFS and Spark Qualifications: Strong experience with Java and Spring frameworkWorking ability to design and develop RESTful APIsExcellent SQL skills to read and write complex queries and understand NoSQL technologies like Hbase and PostgresExperience working with Python and/or Spark/Pyspark for development using Java, Python, and/or ScalaAbility to work PST hours Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
