Application Development Project Lead We are seeking an experienced Application Development Project Lead for a challenging and rewarding role.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test complex applications.
Conduct unit testing and maintain technical documentation.
Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure project alignment.
Lead projects and manage teams effectively.
Apply Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of seven years of application development experience in an enterprise environment using Agile methods.
Previous project leadership experience preferred.
Applicable certifications preferred.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Preferred experience with the insurance industry, its products, and services.
Solid software development skills for commercial-grade applications.
Strong technical understanding and experience in Agile processes, such as SCRUM and Extreme Programming (preferably as a SCRUM Master).
Strong experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology.
Experience with pair programming and modern DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Jenkins, Concourse CI, and Gradle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software, systems, and higher-level programming languages.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage projects and lead teams.
Passion for growing technical skills and solving complex business issues.
Additional Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SCRUM, Jenkins, QA, business requirements, structured software, coding, DevOps, documentation, QA tools, Gradle, quality assurance, and governance.
