Bay Area stealth startup seeking a Technical Application Scientist (TAS) to provide technical support and expertise to internal and external customers, assisting them in problem solving and optimizing the use of our products and solutions. This role combines scientific knowledge with excellent communication skills to enhance customer satisfaction and amplify product adoption. Serve as the first-line technical resource for customers, addressing inquiries and providing solutions related to our platform, escalating issues to the right internal expert, and ensuring resolution with the customer. Assist in the development of application notes, protocols, and user manuals. Support new customer onboarding including site, IT, and training readiness and execution. Provide feedback from customers to the product development team to inform product improvements and new features. Conduct hands-on dry and wet laboratory work to test and troubleshoot applications and validate new protocols. Acquire knowledge of what excellent service and support looks like and cultivate an eagerness to help establish and build out this support function. About you: Master's degree in life sciences with 5 or more years of commercial experience, or a PhD with 2 or more years of commercial experience (e.g. supporting complex life science research instruments, and familiarity with various customer types). Deep familiarity with cell work (e.g., primary cells, cell lines, culturing, analysis). Strong technical background with hands-on experience using life science research tools and technologies. Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, high-growth environment. Early-stage company experience. Valid passport and driver's license. The estimated annual salary range is $130,000 - $165,000. The compensation package also offers benefits and equity.
