Application Security Architect – Hybrid

Job Title: Application Security Architect W2 Rate: 86/HR LOCATION DETAILS: Boston, MA – LOCAL CANDIDATES, FIRST PREFERENCE Hybrid onsite 3 days (Tues-Thurs onsite) Only taking USC, GC or TN Visa Duration: 6 months with possible extension Job Description: We are hiring for an experienced Senior Application Security Architect. Must have the following background – local candidates are considered first, but open to nearby relocations.
Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in an application security role, with hands-on experience in security architecture and risk assessments.Strong expertise in securing container environments and managing container security – OpenShift, Podman, and Docker.Experience with API management and security, especially with MuleSoft and Traceable.Proficiency in managing open source security and using tools such as NexusIQ.Experience with implementing Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) with Contrast Protect.Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.Nice to have (NOT REQUIRED): Banking/financial services experience.Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, etc.) are highly desirable.Additional Information: Please provide years of experience (required to include per the manager):
