Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Advance the end-to-end delivery product control interface, primarily the dashboard application for controlling daily profit and loss reporting, price verification and trading activity. Collaborate with controllers and assist them in the case of any technical query or issue during processes. Complete predefined custom workflows to complete on daily basis and make adjustment or tagging in the case of any exception. Implement legacy reconciliation and strategic front-to-back reconciliation processes. Validate each step defined for product controllers and adhere to standards and processes. Use Springboot to migrate existing application to Enterprise Container Solutions. Collaborate with leaders to setup new BAU modules or processes or any enhancement of the existing modules. Assist the valuation control team to ensure the price is aligned to market price obtained from independent source. Assist in the migration of existing application from Spring MVC to Micro-Services based using Springboot. Identify the technical debt. Perform the valuation adjustment process to ensure that prices, market data or model inputs used by the risk-taking desks generate fair value estimates and VAs are consistent with available market information. Assist to meet regulatory requirements and have an integrated and automated data, calculations, regulatory reporting and posting system. Use Global foreign exchange exposure management systems to enable the combined Broker Dealer and Bank Chain entities currency exposures. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field and 4 years of experience as an Applications Development Manager, Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst, Senior Consultant, Technical Lead or related position involving daily profit and loss controls and validation for a global bank. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of experience must include: Profit and loss reporting tools; Valuation adjustments; Springboot; Global foreign exchange exposure management systems; and Individual pricing verification tools.
