Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Monitor all phases of application development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Analyze complex problems/issues, and provide evaluation of business and system processes. Develop and recommend security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Create data sources, database models, database pipelines, data lakes, backup strategies, disaster recovery procedures, reports, deployment and processing objects by ensuring integrity and security of data. Optimize the performance of various long running queries and implement stored procedures using SQL Profiler and database tuning wizard. Manage source code using the version control tool, evaluate and discuss the complexities of coding, roadblocks of security, performance and availability of the application and strategize the impact of requirements on different platforms/applications. Develop implementation specifications and Functional Requirement Document, Architecture Design Document and testing strategies utilizing JIRA. Develop tests, as well as implement and provide on-going support for applications. Coordinate with project manager for Project Iteration planning in each iteration, schedule project timelines and work on deployment of packages into production servers using U-Deploy and Release management tools. Requirements: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related position involving designing, developing, and implementing applications. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: MS-SQL Server procedures to implement reports, as well as to set up new and maintain existing data loads; Optimizing performance of long running queries and implementing stored procedures using SQL Profiler; Developing and modifying code for application executables; Defect tracking and Project Iteration planning; SSRS to create and format cross-tab, conditional, parameterized reports and sub-reports; Excel to create OLAP reports, dashboards and pivot tables for SQL Server databases, and to provide impact analysis; Release management tools; Deploying packages into production servers using U-Deploy; and SSIS for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of data.
