Role Definition: As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Application Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing omni-channel automations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, working closely with a digital strategist to align business needs with Marketing Cloud solutions, and executing campaigns in Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder, while providing strong knowledge of the platform, processes, and best practices in automation.Responsibilities: Develop, test and deploy marketing automation campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Build out customer lifecycle journeys and email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud including automated and triggered campaigns.Participate in developing, coding and testing computer programs for multiple projects.Participate in preparing technical and procedural documentation required in application system development.Create detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for application programs.Execute solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.Required Certification: A 4-year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of enterprise technology experience is recommended.Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification.Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification.Consideration for Top Candidates: Proficiency in JavaScript and SSJS for Cloud Page development.Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new applications and technologies.Possession of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification.Possession of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.Demonstrated ability to use Marketing cloud connector to extract Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud data.Additional Information: This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a 3 day per week in office requirement.This Job Description is intended as a general guide to the job duties for this position and is intended for the purpose of establishing the specific salary grade.
