Key Job ResponsibilitiesResearch the problem domain and come up with various approaches to solve the problem.Be willing to experiment quickly and fail fast.Collaborate with engineers to come up with the right end-to-end solution to the business problems.Ideate on future roadmap for science in CMT, and CMT in general. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of building models for business application experiencePhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experienceExperience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journalsExperience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languageExperience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience using Unix/LinuxExperience in professional software developmentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
