Job Description
Fluor is hiring an Apprentice Electrician to support the Facilities Operations and Maintenance project.
No related electrical experience required.
Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
May be able to start in position while clearance process is ongoing
Must be able to complete a four-year curriculum, with a passing score of 70% each semester
Continued employment is contingent upon meeting minimum performance requirements of the electrical shop, continued enrollment in the apprentice program, continued submittal of apprenticeship requirements to the state, continuous improvement on electrical skills and knowledge
Installing and connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components and systems
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Troubleshoot motor and control systems
Cutting, bending, threading and running electrical conduit materials
Terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices
Other duties as required
Starting Salary Rate: $25 to $30 hourly + $4.98/hourly Fringe
Positions covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act or Davis-Bacon Act will comply with the statute requirements.

Basic Job Requirements
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be able to obtain and maintain a valid Apprentice Electrician license in the state of Colorado
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic physical ability necessary, to include, but not limited to the ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders and/or crouch for long periods of time to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires problem solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
