You may have built deep expertise in a particular area of modern software, or you may have a breadth of experience across technology solutions. A computer science-based mindset is needed; a technology-based education is helpful.Responsibilities:Quality Engineering (QE) Transformation:Participate in defining / improving the QE strategy, including roadmapDocument & communicate the QE transformation strategyHelp develop and maintain a QE community for collaboration, with periodic meetupsExecute the QE transformation strategy to meet defined success criteriaSupport Delivery Teams:Partner with Dev/Test teams to promote QE best practicesCollaborate with delivery teams and deep dive to assess current QE capabilitiesDevelop and share recommendations with delivery teams to improve QE capabilitiesMonitor overall delivery team progress using capabilities tools to promote continuous improvementsInnovation:Continuous learning of QE best practices through webinars, conferences, etc.Share what you learn with colleagues – such as recommending new tools/processes needed to enhance productivity and quality.Where possible, evaluate and perform required configurations/development work to stand up newly identified value-added tools/processes.Relationship management:Maintain relationships with tool vendors – for instance, to implement custom integrationsWork with stakeholders, facilitate events and training to help achieve QE strategyIdentify and grow key QE partnerships within the organizationQualifications:10+ years of experience working as a Test Automation Engineer/Architect or similar roles5+ years of experience with Java, Python or JavaScript development (intermediate - advanced)5+ years of experience working with Test Automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Junit, Robot)Experience implementing or supporting top-down quality-focused transformationsValues collaboration and always work towards a common team goalTechnology enthusiast who is always learning and developing skillsHas experience working with vendors to support quality engineering tools & processesPreferred Qualifications:Experience developing functional tests (e.g., integration, interface/API testing and unit testing)Experience developing non-functional tests (i.e., performance testing, load testing, stress testing, security testing, etc.)Experience with web service technologies (e.g., XML, REST, SOAP)Strong technical individual contributor - experienced with modern quality engineering toolsExperience with black-box and white-box testingKnowledge of various deployment strategies (i.e., Blue/Green, Canary, A/B, etc.)Experience with BDD and TDDExperience with Code Quality tools (e.g., SonarQube)Experience with Security Scanning tools (e.g., Snyk, BlackDuck)Experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)Working knowledge of enterprise data platforms (e.g., Ab-Initio) and messaging tech (e.g., Kafka)Passion for excellence in product quality and reliabilityExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsEducation:Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Applications Development------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Fort Lauderdale Florida United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$145,840.00 - $218,760.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
