An exciting and innovative Architecture and Design Firm is looking for a top-notch Job Captain to mentor, coach, develop, and promote for long-term success.
The Architectural Job Captain will be tasked with overseeing day-to-day architectural design deliverables, construction documentation, administration tasks, and other routine maintenance duties to keep projects moving along on schedule.
Key Responsibilities: The Architectural Job Captain will be responsible for the coordination of project deliverables during all phases of the project. Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of various architectural projects. Oversee the efforts of a production team to produce high-quality construction documents within the allotted time and budget.
Act as a point of contact for clients and outside consultants. Design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects. Provide strong leadership through the management of relationships at all levels, internally and externally, with ownership, clients, production staff, consultants, and contractors. Preferred Qualifications: B.S or M.S.
Degree in architecture. Architecture License preferred - but not required. 3 years of working experience with schematic design through construction administration phases. Experience coordinating outside consulting engineers, specification research, obtaining agency approvals, and working with contractors is a big plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Possesses a strong foundational knowledge of construction documentation, consultant coordination, and overall project leadership. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential!
