Minimum Requirements: 5-7 years' work experience; or Bachelor's degree with 3 years' work experience.
Educational Requirements: The successful candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture, Planning or in a related field. The successful candidate will also have a California License in Architecture.
Qualifications: This position requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills for use in an interactive design team environment, and an ability to work at a variety of project scales from planning to detail design. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in Revit and proficient hand drawing and writing skills. Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Revit and In-Design are required, as well as work experience applying these skills in an office setting. Additionally, successful candidates will have experience managing and coordinating the work of a consultant team; an interest in a wide range of building types and settings; and an understanding of all phases of a project, from conceptual design through construction. Description: This position is currently available in our San Francisco office. We are looking for an ambitious, talented and self-motivated individual to join the Hart Howerton team. The individual will be managing, designing and building mixed-use, hospitality, and residential projects at multiple scales in the US and abroad.
The Project Manager will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing strategic planning and creative design for clients requiring the firm's unique perspective for their challenging projects. He/she will be responsible for managing the production of designs, presentations, and working drawings while coordinating necessary personnel and firm resources. They will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients, organizing a workflow, structuring proposals and fees, and leading a team. Personal and professional growth of our team is integral to our success.
Duties: As a member of a project team, responsible for production and coordination of project presentations, design, and working drawings.Maintains direct contact with consultants and, with the oversight of a project's senior team members, begins to have direct contact with clients.Demonstrates the ability to assume responsibility for effectively managing a team, including design and consultant teams while producing quantifiable results.Begins to take an active role in Firmwide management by participating in Committees, presentations and related assignments.Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000.
