Job Title: Architectural Project ManagerJob Description
Overview: The Project Manager will oversee architectural millwork construction projects from inception to completion.
These projects are primarily located in the NoVA/DC/Baltimore metro area, working with top national and regional commercial general contractors.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of construction methods, and the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages.
Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate and monitor project progress to meet customer expectations and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
+ Review and approve shop drawings before client review, updating them based on client feedback.
+ Obtain accurate field measurements.
+ Negotiate and manage subcontractors as needed.
+ Ensure proper documentation, submission, and approval of change orders.
+ Collaborate with the accounting department to process customer billings accurately.
+ Serve as the primary contact between customers/stakeholders and the company.
+ Conduct jobsite visits and attend GC progress meetings as required.
+ Determine and manage resources (manpower, equipment, materials) from start to finish, with attention to budgets.
+ Plan all construction operations and schedule each phase to meet project deadlines, supervising installers and providing guidance as needed.
+ Ensure adherence to all governmental and company health and safety standards on the jobsite, reporting issues as necessary.
+ Monitor and evaluate project profitability relative to budget.
+ Complete the punch-out process and successfully close each project.
+ Manage multiple jobs in various stages of construction, from inception through installation and final customer sign-off.
Hard Skills:
+ 4+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a focus on custom millwork, casework, and cabinetry projects.
+ Experience in analyzing job requirements, defining project scope, and developing project timelines for submittals, fabrication, and installation.
