H2M Architects + Engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, environmental consulting firm in the NY Metropolitan Area seeks a licensed Architect to join our Melville team.
We're looking for a Sr. Architect with 15+ years' experience in architectural design. In this role, you will supervise and develop an architectural team for both public and private clients. You will also coordinate the efforts of both in-house and outside teams handling structural engineering, MEP design, civil and environmental engineering services.
We're looking for an enthusiastic go-getter who is comfortable managing the work, interfacing with clients, and supervising a team of architectural professionals. As a part of the H2M Team, you will have the support of our 500+ staff to help you succeed in all aspects of your work.

Job Responsibilities Manage studio budget and ensure projects stay within budget.Recruit, train, develop, and celebrate the successes of the architectural studio team.Act as an elevated point of contact for assigned clients.Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team, to ensure strong team representation and set proper client expectations.Lead the local production teams in the development, planning, and successful execution of projects.Take ownership for quality execution of all projects undertaken by the team.Consistently work towards evolving the workflow process and improving studio efficiency.Oversee operational budget for studio and overall studio performance.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Qualifications 15+ years of architectural design experience.Extensive knowledge of Architectural Design and ability to manage and supervise staff.Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.The ability to work and thrive in a team environment.Knowledge of project specifications & CSI division formatting.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Bachelor's degree in architecture required; Master's preferred.Professional RA required.Architecture enrollment in NCARB IDP preferred.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance with HSA & FSA, life and LTD insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, annual bonus, tuition reimbursement, and excellent professional development programs.
The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000 annually.
