Area Manager - Dyson Beauty

ActionLink's Sales Leadership Team is growing!
We are seeking a driven Full Time Area Manager to spearhead regional sales success for our multinational client, Dyson.
The Area Manager will be responsible for the oversight, staffing, training, scheduling, and development of a remote field team of Hairstyling Beauty Advisors within a designated U.S. geographic territory.
This role will ensure a standard of excellence in the regional execution of all training, sales performance, and relationship building initiatives.
The Beauty Area Manager reports directly to the ActionLink Dyson Account Director, collaborating with both Field leadership and Client leadership to ensure fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators, analyze business results, and recommend process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty trends, a motivating drive for delivering sales results, and some supervisory experience.
What you will do:
Responsible for the execution of all ActionLink project strategies
Communicate all ActionLink strategies to the representatives and store teams
Responsible for minimum compliance standards on an ongoing basis
Achieve all Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to:
Sell-thru performance targets
In-store market share targets
Targeted recommendation rate
Support excellence in merchandising quality
Develop sales plans and forecast for assigned area including monitoring sales activity, such as market trends, and competitor insights
Responsible for maintaining relationships with ActionLink Representatives and retail store leadership teams
Monitor and utilize reporting and analytics to drive sales and increase market share across all categories
Deliver effective training and sales presentation and produce demonstrations to multiple audiences
Assist talent acquisition with recruitment through networking, job fairs and beauty events where applicable
Responsible for in-field teaching, training and coaching team members
Responsible for the performance management of all Representatives including rewards, recognition and accountability
Responsible for reporting in-field findings and making recommendations to the Regional Managers around process improvements made within the Region
Monitor and review all field call reports
Adhere to the guidelines of the ActionLink Travel & Expense Policy
What we Offer:
Salary range of $75,000-$80,000 per year

Qualifications
Cosmetology license preferred
Minimum two (2) years of remote team management experience.
District management experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of retail environment, execution, and products
Experience working in retail stores in a multi-unit capacity preferred
Proven leadership skills including the ability to motivate, inspire, and influence
Able to adapt and multitask as needed between multiple priorities
Ability to build and foster business relationships at multiple levels
Proven negotiation and analytical skills with professional business acumen
Ability to performance manage a team
Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal – to communicate at all levels of the business
Presentation skills to present confidently in front of a varied audience
Attention to detail and accuracy
Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proven time management and organizational skills
Ability to work on weekends and have a flexible schedule
Must be professional and presentable
Work Environment
Office and retail store environments.
Home office space with high-speed internet connectivity and a phone is required.
Ability to travel extensively - up to 75% of the time including overnights
Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to travel as needed by vehicle and/or plane
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to rent a car under ActionLink's corporate insurance standards
Must be mobile and able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Must have the ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, phone, and other standard office equipment
Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
