This is how we continue to set the industry standard. Sound like weed be a good fit? Here's where you come in. Position Summary: Manages and oversees multiple dispensaries within Maryland (4 stores)
Participates and serves as opening Lead for New Store Openings (NSO)
Partners with Buying, Inventory, Operations, Human Resources and Compliance channel leads
Collaborates with Integration Partners (field level)
Creates and administers initiatives and incentives (field level)
Where you'll be planted: This position will require 50-75% travel to dispensary locations in Maryland. The home office of this role will be based out of one of our 4 locations (Burtonsville, Cumberland, Parkville, or Salisbury) and candidates should be a commutable distance from either. This is not a remote position.


\n All benefits-eligible employees are provided the following benefits:Employee Discount (all employees eligible)Paid-Time-Off (varies by State, please ask your Recruiter for more info)Health, vision, and dental insurance98Point6 (remote primary care)401k with 4% matching (100% vested immediately)Employee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental LeaveLife InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityFlexible Spending AccountWellness Program Essential job functions and responsibilities:Monitor and analyze business trends across all stores within districtDevelop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals within district for all Key Performance Indicators including sales, payroll, expense control, shrink, and store contributionDrive a service and selling culture in the districtEnsure company selling and customer service standards are upheld consistently across all stores in the district through effective coaching and training of General Managers and staffLead consistent store visit evaluations and provide proactive feedbackHire, retain and develop a team of General Managers and Wellness Associates that achieve excellence in all areas of measured performance to meet or exceed company business objectives, drive business through effective scheduling and payroll managementPartner with store leadership to develop and maintain operational best practices in the areas of stock flow, floor presentation, asset protection, facilities maintenance, and merchandise functions (price changes, transfers, damages, etc.)Ensure protection of company assets by developing and implementing strong inventory management processesEnsure company policies, procedures, merchandise standards and sales plans are being executedMotivate team through a compelling vision and direction to encompass Apothecarium/Keystone Canna Remedies brand valuesCoach, motivate and inspire store leadership teams to meet or exceed store forecast sales and profit metrics as well as maximize their individual performance, both face-to-face and remotelyOversees quarterly Retail Performance ScorecardsSupervises I.D.P's and Succession PlanningBuild, maintain, and utilize cross functional resources to build processes to help improve performance throughout the district such as Training, HR, Marketing, FinanceRecognize performance opportunities/issues in a timely manner - partners with Director of Retail Operations and Human Resources to develop documented action plans for resolutionsExperience working with start-up ventures and thrives on implementing new, innovative developments that will impact the day-to-day operationsStrong understanding of change management Qualifications and Experience:50-75% travel to dispensariesHolidays are weekends are requiredDemonstrates strong communication and collaboration attributes and skills to work and support all levels of the organizationExperience managing multi-unit retail sales and operationsProven leadership experience including P&L responsibilityTraining, coaching and understanding learning/development processesAdaptability in working towards common goalsUnderstands the overall retail environment and competitiveness landscape – recognizes industry trends and proactive in their decision makingLead customer centric team driven by financial and aspirational goalsStrong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including medical and adult useCritical thinking and problem solvingDetail oriented, organized, agile, and process driven
\n$90,000 - $110,000 a year
The salary range included is for the base compensation and is not inclusive of any variable compensation that can be earned in addition to the base salary. Our range is based on experience, skillsets, and overall fit for the role. \n#LI-TerrAscend
