Managed Mobile, Inc. (www.managedmobile.com), an industry leading provider of mobile fleet maintenance, is hiring a full-time Area Service Manager.

The Area Service Manager (ASM) will report to the Senior Operations Manager, and will work from our Placentia, CA corporate office.

The ASM assumes the core role of responsibility for the business performance of a specified Area Team.
An Area Team consists of two to three Client Service Coordinators (CSC), including the ASM, who are responsible for tracking, scheduling, prioritization, and ALL communication necessary to maintain the fleet vehicles of approximately 150 assigned clients.
Further, an Area Team is responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and supporting assigned technicians to fulfill ALL client fleet maintenance service and repair needs.

The ASM will be cross trained in the multiple CSC roles within the Area Team, and will lead, manage, and hold the team accountable to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
The ASM will receive direction from multiple leaders within the organization on a regular basis.
It is critical that the ASM have exceptional interpersonal communication skills, confidence to make swift decisions, and bandwidth to oversee a multi-faceted workflow without being overwhelmed.

The primary duties and responsibilities for the Area Service Manager are as follows: Scheduling and dispatching all outgoing jobs, including generation of repair orders, parts ordering, reviewing client/job details, and anticipating any/all necessary resources to complete assigned workCommunicating with clients via phone, email, and text regarding scheduling work, providing updates for work in progress, and follow up for completed jobsScheduling, dispatching and supporting technicians to complete assigned workEnsure client fleet vehicles are compliant with all state/federal mandated inspection programs and are current with all PM service intervalsCommitment to learn the medium and heavy-duty truck repair trade and be a "Fleet Maintenance Professional" An ideal Area Service Manager can be described as: Eager to speak and interact with clients and team membersCan think and act decisively without complete informationUnderstands a great client experience determines the success of our businessAppreciates accountability and is not afraid to hold others accountableCan manage and direct multiple activities throughout the day without forgettingLikes work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adjusts to changesHas strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking skillsHas a clean driving record and is responsible and dependable to handle / manage company's assigned items, including but not limited to company credit card.
