We are seeking an experienced Electronic Drums Artist Relations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting on new artist signings, negotiating contracts, and managing the current roster database for electronic drums. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive support to electronic drums endorsers, including order management, production tracking, and technical assistance on products and software.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Artist Relations.
Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Consult on new artist signings, negotiate contract levels and maintain current roster database for electronic drums. Provide all aspects of support for electronic drums endorsers including order entry, production tracking, product delivery, related manufacturing issues and maintaining positive working relationships with artists. Provide product setup training and technical support on electronic drums products and software. Supervise specific electronic drums artist and backline budgets – report and advise regarding artist and backline expenditures. Manage electronic drums backline support. Service network of backline partners and establish new partnerships as necessary. Manage equipment orders with backline partners. Maintain equipment inventory in conjunction with backline companies. Coordinate equipment availability with electronic drums-related artists, managers or production in regards to concerts and events. Liaise with other departments regarding electronic drums endorsers. Provide artist information as necessary. Coordinate artists for content, photo shoots, etc with Creative team as needed. Connect endorsers' activities with Digital team for web and social media content. Serve as electronic drums artist representative at trade shows and other scheduled events. Preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience and/or training in artist relations, contract negotiation, or similar roles within the music industry. Previous experience specifically in Artist Relations within the music manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Strong MIDI/software/DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) knowledge and hands-on experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Additional Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity with electronic drums products, software, and MIDI technology. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with artists, management, and internal teams. Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Willingness and ability to travel both domestic and internationally occasionally and represent the company at events. This is a full-time position with some limited work from home flexibility. Must be within local, commutable distance from Oxnard, CA.
Pay Rate Range: Bi-weekly $2,307 – $2,884
