GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Assembly Operator.Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX.Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo
Key Accountabilities: Perform standard assembly procedures to safely load, repair and store all guns & equipment.
Utilize various tools and equipment to assemble units per required specifications.
Identifies faulty parts during the process of assembly and ensures that products are functioning properly and are of good quality.
Maintain adequate paperwork or computer entries for all inventory items.
Complete inventory counts and communicate results.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines using written instructions and checklist.
Maintain tools, shop, and equipment in good condition and keep shop and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge:High school diploma or equivalent.
0 - 2 years' experience.
Entry level with some experience with oil and gas industry perforated products preferred.
Good communication skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Should possess manual dexterity, good eyesight, good reading skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role: Bending, lifting, stooping, pushing, pulling and sitting greater than 50% of the time Repetitive motion demands Hands/wrist/shoulder and gripping Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds as needed.
Work Environment/Environmental Conditions:Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Walking surfaces: Outdoor areas ramps and rough/uneven terrain
