Slingshot Biosciences is looking for a Manufacturing Technician III to join our production team.
This role will support the manufacturing team in the preparation of buffers, filling of finished and packaging of finished products.
In addition, the Manufacturing Assembly Technician III will coordinate raw materials requests, execute assigned activities by adhering to current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), and good documentation practices (GDP) with a quality mindset.
The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, detail-oriented who enjoys working in a small company but rapidly growing start-up.
This role reports to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.
Responsibilities Responsible for producing innovative synthetic cell mimics and associated supporting productsWill interface with automated production systems and controls in a controlled manufacturing environment, and maintain areas in a state of inspection preparednessOperates production equipment for cell mimic preparation that may include formulation, synthesis, process monitoring, sampling, collection, purification, and quality controlPerforms media/buffer solution preparation operations and handles highly sensitive samples (e.g.
proteins)Maintains detailed records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements utilizing current manufacturing practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and eQMS systemSupports troubleshooting and continuous improvement effortsIs able to mentor and cross train junior team membersWill comply with safety requirements, SOPs and manufacturing documentationWill assist with cycle count activities and efforts to support accurate inventory management Requirements Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience in a controlled manufacturing environmentProficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.
)Must be willing to quickly adapt to changing situationsAble to multitask, plan and prioritize activitiesPrevious experience with temperature and light sensitive samples is desiredGood communication skills, documentation skills and high attention to detailAbility to quickly learn new skills, demonstrate productivity and deliver high quality resultsSelf starter who is comfortable working independently and in a team environmentPunctual and willing to work additional hours if needed
Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level.
Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications.
In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly.
After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary.
The base salary range for this full-time position is between $25-$31 per hour + equity + benefits.
