We are currently searching for an Asset Protection Officer for Prince County, Maryland and Baltimore, Maryland.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must fully understand and implement all aspects of the community policy and be able to enforce community lease, rules and regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws fairly and impartially, ensuring you are not violating Fair Housing.
Report all emergencies immediately to the Community Manager and Security Director and provide an incident report within 24hrs of the incident.
Provide exceptional customer service skills to all residents, potential residents, and their guests.
Maintain high visibility to ensure and deter unacceptable activities in the community.
Generate a well written and descriptive report to account for all activities during the duration of your patrol.
Maintain security reports and trackers within companies software platform.
Monitor contracted security services including understanding the security contract in place.
Institute Patrol Management System Assist with delivery of lease violations and other residential communications.
Lead bi-weekly meetings with community managers and maintenance supervisors cover areas of security updates, concerns and or action plans.
Must be able to respond to medical, criminal, and disaster incidents and determine / direct immediate response action.
Develop and maintain a strong liaison with local, county, and state police agencies.
Conduct a monthly light out inspection of all the lights in the community's common areas and other required inspections.
Attend resident meetings and or events.
Conduct meetings with residents any lease violations, and or security concerns.
Reviews current CCVT systems and provides feedback on recommendations Regularly check all properties within jurisdiction including inspecting vacant units to ensure all are intact and with windows and doors secured.
Other duties as assigned Education and Work Experience Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of Law Enforcement and/or Military background or minimum of 5 years of experience as a security guard supervisor Basic computer skills and knowledge Must have valid driver's license High School diploma or equivalent Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Must be detail oriented and results driven Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills Ability to mediate confrontations and make sound logical decisions Ability to understand safety rules and procedures Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays when the business requires Must be able to travel as required by the position Pay Range: $23.07 -$25.48 Benefits:Competitive salaries and bonuses Medical Dental Vision 401(k) plan with employer match Short term disability Long term disability Life/AD&D Paid Time Off 11 paid holidays Employee Assistance Program Career advancement opportunities Training and Development
