Sound like weed be a good fit? Here's where you come in.  Our next Assistant Buyer will be the connection between sales floor and customers by ensuring that inventory is in the right place at the right time. This role will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Accounting Departments and business store operations teams, ensuring principles of cost accounting are applied to enable a thorough understanding of product costs, margin analysis and business profitability. This role will report to the Retail Purchasing Manager, while acting as a key liaison to Accounting, Operations and Retail.
Where you'll be planted: This is a hybrid role that requires 1 time per month meeting at one of our Northeast Grow Operations as well as occasional vendor meetings and team meetings in King of Prussia, PA. The remainder of time is work from home.

Monitoring retail inventory levels at the SKU level to ensure proper levels to support current sales plan.Developing and maintain relationships with supply partners. Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms and methods. Interfacing with retail locations on existing and new products and inventory needs. Setting retail pricing, ensuring sales, markups, and markdowns are executed. Helping develop and support product launches and promotional strategies focused on driving incremental revenue and profit dollars. Partnering with Purchasing Manager to analyze SKU-level pricing and profitability. Remaining in full compliance with the laws and regulations for each location, always.   What we're high on...We value diverse skillsets, talents, and experiences. The salary range included is for the base compensation and is not inclusive of any variable compensation that can be earned in addition to the base salary.
