As an Assistant Community Manager, you are responsible for assisting with the planning and coordinating of community events, activities, and projects. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, handling the routine office work and administrative duties for the community. The time allocation mentioned below may vary depending on the community's needs. Annual or semi-annual travel may be required for this role.
\n ResponsibilitiesResident Relations (~40% of time)Cultivate resident satisfaction within your communityAddress resident issues with care and urgencyUnderstand when it is appropriate to involve the Community Manager in resident issuesPlan and execute community events as directed by the Community ManagerCollections (~40% of time)Prepare bills and statements for approval by the Community ManagerEnsure all rent is collected on timeComplete all legal action and notices required in compliance with State and Fair Housing StandardsSales and Leasing (~10% of time)Assist in ensuring all homes are ready to be occupied within Havenpark expectationsAssist CM and SLA with document preparation or coordination for new move-ins or lease renewalWork Orders (~10% of time)Manage work orders to ensure all rental work orders are completed within 48 hours of receipt QualificationsEducation: You have a high school diploma or GEDExperience: You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in property managementPhysical Demands: You can spend long hours sitting while using office equipment, such as computers. This position will also require walking within the community and lifting of materials and supplies from time to time
