The Assistant Construction Manager reports to the Project Director and Senior Project Manager, or assigned project leadership.
Provides assistant construction management services in an occupied jail project.
Assists in providing support for the project, field coordination, and direction for construction management activities, observations and reporting.
This position will observe and support construction in the field.
Paying $105,000-$125,000.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in technical disciplines such as Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent technical area of study with a minimum of 2 years of experience in administration of construction activities on construction, engineering or architectural related projects, OR:
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business disciplines such as Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or Management with a minimum of 3 years of experience in administration of construction activities on construction, engineering or equivalent technical projects.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work positively in a team environment.
- Knowledge and application of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, techniques, materials, applications, and practices.
- Understanding of contracts, documents, drawings and specifications.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Excel and Word; and experience with project-related Construction Management systems is preferred.
- Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) is preferred.
