Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree infrastructure engineering, construction project management, or a related field. Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience leading complex projects related to infrastructure project management, capital construction, facilities improvement, or similar areas, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience. Must be available to direct essential personnel emergency response work in the evening hours or on weekends, as needed. Knowledge of infrastructure engineering principles, construction methods, and facilities improvement techniques. Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations, and policies related to capital construction, ADA requirements, and environmental considerations. Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising capital infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to review work reports, analyze data, and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. Ability to identify and manage risks associated with infrastructure projects, compliance, and regulatory matters and apply a proactive active approach to problem-solving. Ability to assist with strategic planning initiatives and set short-, medium, and long-term goals. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups. Ability to make major decisions on complex technical and administrative matters. Ability to develop effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including school staff, families, community members, and high-level officials.
