This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining departmental policies, procedures, and quality performance standards in collaboration with invasive cardiologists. Key responsibilities of the Assistant Director Cardiac Cath lab include developing and monitoring departmental operational and capital budgets, coordinating with medical and nursing staff on procedural matters, and maintaining positive working relationships across departments. The manager will oversee employee relations, workflow patterns, and service priorities to ensure efficient service provision. Additionally, responsibilities include participating in marketing and strategic planning, managing supplies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with JACHO standards and safety regulations.
