Position Summary The Assistant Director of Data Quality and Support will be responsible for supporting LEA schools with state reporting, resolving multiple and duplicate student enrollments, preparing data for the Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC), and supporting families with PEBT support for schools in the LEA. The employee will be responsible for the coordination of district efforts as they relate to training and implementation of PowerSchool and related applications. Primary responsibilities include leading support related to PowerSchool, supporting district and LEA employees with school data related programs, and filling ad-hoc data requests for district leadership. This employee will lead district-wide data quality training for data submissions and support the district by monitoring completion rates and compliance of all district-authorized schools.
\n Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms regular data validations of the data entered into the LEA SIS; Provides help desk support within the Orleans Parish LEA for cases related to PowerSchool;Ensures participating schools within our LEA comply with requirements related to the unified enrollment system;Leads and coordinates training for data managers and other users within the LEA on topics related to PowerSchool and data quality;Provides data reports and presentations to school leaders to assist with planning and accountability;Supports LEA schools with resolving state reporting errors for the LEA; SIS, CUR, SPC, SPS, STS.Supports data and analytics requests related to student demographics, data quality, completion monitoring, and other requests as needed;Recommends and implements changes to the Student Information System through regular communication with the Director of Testing and Legacy Services;Supports the execution of state reporting for EdLink 360, including any state legacy systems (SIS, SPS, SPC, SER, STS, CUR, CLASS, CVR, eScholar), Civil Rights Survey, secure data transfers and others that may become a part of our solution set at the LEA and/or network level as needed;Supports schools with configuring classes, sections, student schedules, progress reports, report cards, and grade scales;Performs other duties as required. Educations and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or four years of related experience.Minimum of 5 years of data management experience. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities RequiredProficiency in Excel required;Advanced proficiency with PowerSchool required;Experience with JCampus preferred;Experience with state data reporting preferred;Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills;Attention to detail and accuracy;Excellent information-gathering and monitoring skills;Problem analysis and problem-solving skills; andAbility to complete projects successfully without errors.

Performance Evaluation The employee will be evaluated based on the above position using either two methods: via COMPASS or a NOLA-PS evaluating instrument. If the employee holds an Educational Leadership certification, he/she will be evaluated via COMPASS to ensure renewal of certification.
