Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center, or other related healthcare setting. Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served. Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
