Job Summary: Join our team at Gonzaga University and play a key role in supporting the Student Financial Services Team. This position serves as a member of the Student Accounts management ream and shares responsibility in directing all student account functions to ensure payments due the University are billed, collected, posted, deposited and reconciled accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with state, federal and University policy.
The position will oversee and manage the collection of all student account receivables for the University, will build and maintain fee assessment and refund controls, and will implement and coordinate all processes related to billing. The Assistant Director manages the utilization of the Transact Payments system. The Assistant Director provides respectful and timely communication to students and families to assist them with meeting their financial obligation to the University. The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $60,864 – $63,820 The internal full salary range is $60,864 – $82,346 Minimum Qualifications: ?BA + three (3) years of related experience or seven (7) years of related experience if substituting experience for education requirement. Three years of experience with accounts receivable and billing utilizing standard accounting policies. Three years experience working with an integrated software system. Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate job-related processes to internal and external customers. Proficient in Microsoft Word with the ability to create and maintain documents. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create spreadsheets. (e.g., formulas such as Vlookup, graphs, pivot tables). Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups of people. Demonstrated ability for accuracy and attention to detail.
