ASSISTANT DIRECTOR PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION (PHP) - LMHC/LICSW

About the Role:
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Woburn is looking for an Assistant Director to join our team! Our Partial Hospitalization Programs are group-based and short-term for individuals requiring a higher level of care. Our teams work to promote a group that is therapeutic, safe, and supportive. The Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Assistant Director assists in the overall quality and fiscal management of the PHP program. The Assistant Director, in collaboration with or in the absence of the Director PHP, assures that clinical services are in full compliance with applicable regulations and payer contract specifications. This role delivers direct services to clients, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and performs administrative duties required in program management.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate and conduct intakes
Assess clients' or families' needs and eligibility for services through Intake Assessments and ongoing assessments throughout the course of treatment at the program
Lead and Co-lead group therapy in accordance with assigned client needs
Participate in planning treatment programs
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
Maintain a caseload in accordance with the needs of the program
Maintain required charting and documentation in a timely and thorough manner
Perform de-escalation interventions
Adhere to all client confidentiality requirements and standards
Accept supervision and attend regularly scheduled team or supervision meetings
Oversee transportation coordination - site-specific
Oversee supply orders for the program - site-specific
Oversee food service for the program - site-specific
Mentor to Graduate Level Interns
Provide supervision to Graduate Level Interns - if able to based on qualification and as determined by the Director
Participate in the chart audit process
Require minimal supervision regarding the use of time and ability to prioritize work assignments
Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families
Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations or with unpredictable or violent clients
Ability to make accurate assessments and provide appropriate treatment
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the agency, community, and referral sources
Other duties as assigned
Leadership Expectations:
Foster staff development and growth of the team
Provide regular coaching and feedback to employees to motivate performance
Complete performance evaluations providing thorough feedback and goals to assigned staff by established deadlines
Coordinate and provide day-to-day oversight to staff; actively involved in resolving employee matters/issues
Maintain open communication through regular rounding and one-to-one meetings with employees
Ensure staff comply with assigned education requirements in a timely manner (i.e., CIA Training, HIPAA training, competencies, etc.)
Responsible for holding staff accountable with upholding facility policies/procedures and managing the corrective action process when needed
Actively participate and champion the facility's Service Excellence and Recognition Programs
Develop team-building initiatives to engage staff and build a positive team dynamic
Actively participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all staff within the team

Qualifications
LICSW or LMHC required
Minimum of two years as a clinical supervisor or program manager preferred
Prior experience with children & adolescents as well as a higher level of care experience preferred
Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation
