Assistant Engineer

**JOB PURPOSE****DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Under close supervision, assists Engineers in performing a variety of routine tasks related to environmental projects including investigation of air, water, and solid/hazardous waste management issues, health, and safety compliance, and assists in permitting.- Under close supervision, assists Engineers in performing routine or non-routine investigations, calculations, and simple engineering assignments (original work based on manuals/engineering principles or based on designs of others).- May assist in performing routine field work including sample collection and field measurements.- Receives specific and detailed instruction as to required tasks and results expected.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Minimum of two (2) years of higher-level education beyond high school.- Three (3) years of experience.- Must be able to pass a background check.Johnson Venture Management Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
