Assistant Event Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for an Assistant Event Manager who is a self-starter and will support and work with the Events Division Operations Team to ensure the smooth coordination of our events portfolio.

Responsibilities:
Tracking Deadlines Creating events within Cvent & pulling reports from system Daily excel usage (filtering, sorting, merging) & data entry Proofing & editing event material Coordinating/communicating with all event vendors, sponsors, speakers, and attendees Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded Develop excellent quality content Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience Required Competencies: 4-6 Years of previous Experience with Events Management Cvent knowledge Preferred Excel Familiarity (Basic Sorting, Filtering etc.)
Creative Spirit Qualitative Research Skills - How & Why Deadline Driven Multi-tasker Personable- Must be comfortable & have experience working with c-suite individuals Hard worker, not afraid of long hours approaching deadlines Freely gives and receives feedback Ability To Travel (4-7 weeks per year, must be willing to be away for up to 1 week at a time for some events)
