COME AND JOIN US . . . We are currently seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented, guest and people focused Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our Food & Beverage Leadership team.
Our nine bars and restaurants span the F&B spectrum, from the theatre of fine dining, to the pace and scale of banqueting and the relaxed flare of bar food, Italian brasserie and Indian cuisine to signature drinks, vintage Champagnes and some serious glamour in our very own 1920s cocktail lounge.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Supporting our HODs with a hands-on approach, you'll be highly visible across our full F&B operation, essential in ensuring the ultimate satisfaction for our guests through your active involvement in all service elements. A key part of the daily running of the F&B division, you'll be present during shift briefings, hosting or co-hosting the daily meetings with a razor-sharp focus on VIPs, Forbes, LQA and Gleneagles Way standards and our vast array of events. You'll make sure the ambiance and standards of presentation of our outlets are of the highest standard at all times; managing any guest concerns during service and beyond with the utmost professionalism, bringing these to resolution swiftly and effectively. Striving to see our service through our guests' eyes, you'll take every opportunity to ensure their Gleneagles experience is exceptional. Setting the tone and leading by example, you'll be developing a team culture where your team feel valued and convey this warmth and thoughtfulness to others through the delivery of exceptional service. Supporting our senior F&B leadership team with the planning and resourcing of our people resource throughout the division. Facilitating a strong flow of communication throughout F&B, building strong working relationships with our Culinary brigade and your colleagues across the estate. Supporting our VIP recognition programme, proactively sharing key details with your relevant colleagues and departments. Working with our F&B Development Partner, you'll be actively involved in the scheduling and implementation of F&B training and development. Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way. The kind of person we're looking for: You have fantastic experience, and you're used to running large teams to a senior level in a multi outlet luxury setting, including events. Knowing what great looks like, you lead change, elevate a service culture, and drive consistency. You have a sound understanding of F&B financials, cost controls, SPC awareness, equipment management and the essential performance metrics. No matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to our people and guests you recognise it's often the first time; your attitude and demeanour are always consistent and on point. Progressive in your thinking, you're curious, and exhibit a restlessness and ambition both for yourself and the business. You understand that to be successful and have sustained impact, you also need to be diligent, highly organised, and commercially minded. You possess a strong drive to support and help others, and have little room for ego; working in an environment where things move and flex, where a can-do attitude is critical for success are second nature to you. Supremely organised and adept at managing competing, and sometimes conflicting, priorities, you have a high level of resilience and the ability to deal with fast-paced environments. You'll bring a strong people focus and the desire to grow and nurture team members through coaching and training. A creative thinker, you have strong experience in driving projects forward to improve product and process. Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand. You have a positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner. A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail.
